Session Fees and Payment Options
Private-Pay Sessions
Individual therapy sessions are $185 and typically last 50–60 minutes.
Reduced-Fee Appointments
I offer a limited number of reduced-fee appointments starting at $135 per session for clients who would have difficulty affording my standard fee. We’ll consider your financial circumstances, access to insurance benefits, and appointment availability. We’ll agree on your fee before beginning therapy and discuss when to revisit the arrangement.
If cost is a concern, you’re welcome to ask about current availability.
Using Your Insurance
I accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Oxford, Providence Health Plan, and UnitedHealthcare.
Insurance verification and billing are managed through Headway. You can check your coverage and estimated session cost before your first appointment.
Out-of-Network Benefits
If I’m not in-network with your insurance, your plan may offer out-of-network benefits that reimburse part of your therapy costs.
You’ll pay the agreed session fee directly, and I can provide a superbill - an itemized receipt to submit to your insurer. Eligibility and reimbursement depend on your plan and are not guaranteed. Contact your insurer before starting therapy to understand your benefits.
Online Therapy Throughout California
I offer online therapy for adults through secure video sessions. You can meet with me from home or another private, comfortable space. You must be physically located in California during each appointment.
Let’s Talk About What You Need
I offer a free 20-minute consultation to discuss what brings you to therapy, answer your questions, and explore whether we’re a good fit.

Brainspotting Therapy
Brainspotting therapy goes even deeper into the body’s wisdom. Using your eye position as a guide, we locate the “brainspot” where trauma is held, and we stay with that point while gently tracking your body’s responses. It’s less structured than EMDR and often creates space for profound somatic release and insight without having to over-explain or relive your story.
I completed phase 1&2 Brainspotting training with Awaken Consulting Services.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps process and rewire trauma responses stored in the brain and body. It’s especially effective for people who’ve experienced anxiety, PTSD, or painful memories that still feel “too close.” We use gentle bilateral stimulation (like eye movements, sound or tapping) to support your brain’s natural healing process.
I’ve completed Basic EMDR Training through EMDRConsulting.com (EMDRIA-approved) and continue to enhance my skills through ongoing consultation and advanced training.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps you understand and shift unhelpful thoughts and patterns. Together, we’ll work to build skills that support your goals, manage stress, and create meaningful change in your daily life.
I completed my CBT training at the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Psychodynamic Exploration
You may notice the same struggles showing up in different relationships holding back your needs, fearing rejection, or feeling responsible for others. Through thoughtful conversation, we’ll explore how earlier experiences and relationships may shape what you feel, expect, and do today.
Together, we’ll make sense of these patterns and work toward greater self-understanding, more choice in how you respond, and deeper connection with yourself and others.
